Ballet Classes offered at North peak performance

Miss Riley Faith Parker is the teacher here at North Peak Performance. She has been dancing since she was 2 years old and started her career at Ramona Rose Dance Studio. She is now dancing with Ingra and Company in Shinnston. She currently takes jazz, ballet, pointe, hip-hop, contemporary, and Irish dance. Riley is an assistant teacher in the level 3 ballet, pointe, and Irish classes offered at ICO. 

At North Peak Performance Riley teaches our "Baby Ballerinas." This class is offered for ages 2.5-5 years old. It is an introduction to ballet. The dancers will learn all the positions for ballet while dancing, moving, and socializing with other children their age. This class runs roughly 45-50 minutes because littles do not have the attention span to handle more than that. 

For class the dancers are required to wear dance attire. This includes: leotards, tutus, and ballet flats (preferably black or pink), and hair pulled up. This class normally meets on Thursday evenings at 6pm. 

Miss Riley holds 2 recitals a year; one in the spring and one in the fall. Costumes are purchased before each performance and the recitals are held at North Marion High School in the auditorium.
